L'amant Studio is a curated mid-century homeware label I founded at the end of May 2021. I have always loved the simple yet colourful designs from the 1950s-1980s and want to share my love of it with a likeminded audience while aligning it with my belief in a sustainable lifestyle. For this campaign, my goals is to create strong images that advertise the objects to customers through the quirkiness that is easily relatable to many. And by using food items as props, I hope to awaken the sensory memories of the viewer based on their own encounter with them that would be stimulating on an emotional level. It was my first time attempting food photography and artistic direction for still life and I truly had a lot of fun with it. I believe this campaign has successfully defined the aesthetic and style of the shop.
